Hey, I’m Tyler Babin — a director, photographer,
and designer based in New York City.
Over the last 10 years, I’ve directed high-profile projects, led graphic design campaigns, and served as Creative Director, photographer, and videographer on major ad and tour promotion shoots and recently directed Hasan Minhaj’s 3rd Netflix comedy special, Off With His Head.
Early on I was a core memebr of Gary Vaynerchuk’s personal content team, traveling the world as one of his videographers and editors for DailyVee. During my time there, I helped craft his brand and spearheaded design for key projects like the cover of his NYT bestseller Crushing It and his limited-edition K-Swiss sneaker campaign.
In 2019, I took a creative fellowship with Adobe, producing a podcast and a YouTube docuseries, 24 Hours With, profiling influential creatives. This experience honed my passion for capturing the stories of people and their craft.
Since then, I’ve collaborated with brands like Grey Goose Vodka, Squarespace, WeTransfer, Bose, and Logitech, building a reputation for dynamic storytelling.
In 2021, I partnered with Hasan Minhaj as Chief Digital Officer of 186K Films, directing and producing projects for Netflix, WhatsApp, Waze, and Adobe, while also documenting Hasan’s tours and producing his Netflix specials, I also serve as Executive Producer and Director for Hasan Minhaj Doesn’t Know, an interview podcast featuring guests like Barack Obama and Elizabeth Warren.
Today, under my production company, I continue to push creative boundaries, leading campaigns for clients such as Walmart, Thrive Global, and theory11.
